The Final Post

The Final Post

1) What was that that I enjoyed in this class? Was is my classmates, the course or the teacher? In all honesty, the only enjoyable thing here was you Mr. Heymore, there are no words to express how much I will miss this class. How I will miss the guidance that I needed and the examples of true living.

2) But with every good there is a bad. And that bad that roamed with me was the non-stop talking that happen in a daily bases in this class, but that was settled once everyone was scattered.

3) As a two time student of this class, I know that the major problem with this class is the ruckus. There but one solution to that problem and that is strictness.

To the person who is reading this, there won't be any more of this, but the show must go on, that's all for today folks.

Memorial Day

Memorial Day

Memorial day is a day that was brought to us to make us conscious of those who where lost in the military; celebrated every last Monday in May, Memorial day can vary in the South from the North, in the south states, Memorial day is celebrated in the fourth Monday in April.
As a national celebration, Memorial Day is celebrated anywhere in the country, with no restrictions, in fact, Memorial Day is promoted to thank those who gave their live for this country.
A few ways to honor the dead is by thank them for living. As General George S. Patton once quoted "It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived", General George shows how we must honor them by celebrating their death and their living.
As I was surfing through the web, I came across this quote by Helen Keller that stated "[w]hat we have once enjoyed deeply we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us", and this made me think of how most of us think that the dead are gone once they are dead. But that is not true, the dead rom this earth

Becoming Your Best

Becoming Your Best
The 12 Principle of Highly Successful Leader

I)Be true to character

Having a good character is great, it is amazing to feel the compliments of others surrounding you, cheering on you and all that good stuff. But what about when they are not there, when you are alone or in a place full of strangers, what then? Are you still the cool person that everyone fancies or do you change?
What Steven Shallenberger is trying to say about staying true to character is that one cannot achieve success if someone is not showing their true self, that is because one cannot hide the truth about oneself; it may be a deceiving face, the one that a person might have, but at one point, the act will be dropped and the person will not be able to be seen as another person.

II)Use your imagination

We are all born knowing how to use our imagination however we please, it is not until we grow older that we loose touch with such ability. As children we love to imagine non existing creatures that we would just enjoy spending time with, or situations in which we were heroes with superpowers, saving people; then, there are the kids who grew up alone, with no positive reinforcement who only imagine a nice home with a caring and supporting family. Neither of these kids are bad, it was not up to them to choose whether they wanted a good family or not, they where given no option.
Exercising the power of imagination is a strong one that should be used to create positive great things.

III)Apply the power of knowledge

IV)Never Give Up

V)Find Peace and Balance

Some posses them, others do not. A healthy balance of both can bring peace and comfort, and this will guide a happy life.

VI)Live the Golden Rule

VII) Build and maintain trust

VIII)Quick to listen slow to wrath
It is of vital importance to listen to what others have to say about you to better yourself as a person and a human being. As humans, we need understanding, therefore, we must listen to understand. But not just listening, we must understand, we must not listen to reply.

IX)Lead with vision
No leader has been chosen because they are the best at guessing, or because they have extreme luck. Leaders are chosen because they are great at what they do and because they are lead by their ambitions.
But this is not just thrown into the air with hope that something great might happen.Leaders are chosen because of the vision they share with the once who are being led. Therefore, one must develop a vision to lead, one must have it vivid as reality itself, and one must do everything and anything to grasp it.

x)Manage with a plan
Improvisation is a skill that not many posses, the lucky that do are able to do something with out planning. But this can at times go sour, therefor, planning is needed. Without planning, our entire mid would be lost, infact, it takes nine months of creation and planning to create a human. Without planning, many buildings would have collapsed, a lot more sinkholes would appear, and many more infrastructure problems. Everything needs planning to be successful. No matter if it is business, friendships, relationships, school or other matters.

XI) Do what matters the most
Having control of our lives is important. There is nothing we cannot do without control. If we do not control what is important to us, such as our life and destiny, then somebody else will. There are many important things that must be done for the sake of one, and this things must be first done in order to help others. It is as simple as maintaining a schedule.

XII) Be accountable
Being brave and standing up for what one believes is correct, this makes great leaders. Without this, most leaders would hide behind their subordinates, thus, not making them good at all. Therefore, one must be willing to suffer any consequences and accept them without a second though, one must not let their fears drive them into despair. One must conquer them and stand up for what they believe in.

Ten Tips for Being More Truthful

Ten Tips for Being More Truthful

Tip 1
Make a commitment to tell the truth.

Tip 2
Tell someone about your commitment.

Image result for ministry of truth
Being committed in silence will not help help keep the commitment strong, if one wants to stay committed to what he or she wants, then they must be able to spread the word of their commitment to as much possible people so he or she can be reminded of their commitment. Also, staying true to something will help one become more trust worthy, for example, if I am insecure, no one will trust me an important task or project. But if they seem me overwhelmed with confidence, then I'll be trusted with about anything, including important projects that might decide the fate of something. Therefore, I believe that it is vital to trust one's self and be committed to tell the truth, and spreading the word to be reminded.

Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth.
-Buddha

Tip 3
Think before you give a dishonest answer, explanation, sarcasm, or reason.

Having dishonesty in your life is wrong, there is justification for having certain dishonesty, but that is still wrong. Being dishonest can create problems within everything, a business, a classroom homework, family , etc. Some reasons to being dishonest may include the excuse of protecting certain love ones (although there extreme cases where a person has to hide certain stuff to keep their loved ones safe). Most of the time, the persons themselves shadow their eyes with the lie that dishonesty is the only way to protect himself or his family.
Continuing with dishonesty, sarcasm. Is it truly bad? I believe otherwise; being a little sarcastic has never hurt someone.

Tip 4
Be careful of when and how you use exaggeration, sarcasm or irony.

The use of exaggeration, sarcasm or irony is not bad when used at the right moment. Using these in occasions such as funerals, interviews, other official settings, or simply when the mood is just not appropriate, this can make you seem as an individual who has no morality or respect for the person in question. But this does not mean that they are bad to use, there are occasions when someone might want to use them. And this is fine if it is later explained. But one must not leave a person without an explanation because that leave the mid open to interpretation which is bad if the exaggeration, sarcasm, or irony has a negative tone because then the interpretation would be negative itself.

Tip 5
Be careful not to twist the truth or leave out part of it.

Is a truth complete if it has been manipulated with or cut of? In my case, I believe that there  is no truth if anything has been done to it that compromised it.
Everything in life can be a lie, our lives, our knowledge, our mere existence. But we grasp on to it without a second doubt. No body in this world stops to think if they really exist, how can they prove this withoutht e use of there senses.

And how exactly is that related to not twisting the truth, or telling an incomplete truth? If there is something certain in life, it that not one single person will live their entire telling the truth. Therefor, I wanted to tell everyone out there to try their best and tell the least lies in their entire live.

Tip 6
Don't indulge in little white lies

Lying does wrong to who ever it is being done to. Even if it is as innocent as a white lie; if it has to be done for the greater good of everyone, then it must be done, but if it used to save yourself from any kind of punishment, then that is doing some wrong. People are hurt in the long run, it is better to be honest to not hurt their feelings. White lies can become full lies and feeling can be hurt, think before you act, do not act before you think.

Tip 7
Watch out for silent lies

Silent lies are caused when one does not agree to something but still goes with it. And although it may sound funny, this happens often, at work, at home, anywhere. We decide to not express our opinion just to go the easy way and stay in everyone's cool side. But this is wrong, first because there is non of your voice in the decision and because there pride must not get in the way of someone. If s lie is not told, is it still a lie?

Tip 8
when you catch yourself lying, throw your moth into reverse

Tip 9
Talk to yourself

Talking to oneself can really help, it may be taken as a sign of madness, but that should not affects the confidence that one has to himself by talking to yourself. Whether it is inside the mind, or out loud; talking helps, and there is a number of ways that it can help, some of those ways are by appreciating yourself.

Tip 10
Treat yourself when you tell the truth.

One must know when to treat themselves, this is important because you are being self conditioned to only tell the truth, therefore instinct will kick in and there will be little to no possibility of lying.
Giving yourself a treat for each good thing that is accomplished will only nourish and sustain the this tip. But like all tips, this should not be taken

Khan Academy Internet 101

Khan Academy Internet 101

Image result for khan academy
What I learned from the Khan Academy videos is that there is more than one form to connect to the internet, yet, there is flaws with all of them. An example would be with the wireless connections, with a wireless connection the signal has high chances of being lost, meaning that one must be within a close range to get the best possible service.

Another thing I learned was that computer viruses are similar to those that humans get, they infect the host and damage it slowly, but in the case of computers, the virus give permission to others to control the computer, steal information or just simply damage the computer.

With the new knowledge I know posses, I can take new measurements of security to keep my electronic devices and sensitive data safe. To keep my data a secret from those thief who take what is not theirs.

The 10 Keys to Personal Power

The 10 Keys to Personal Power
Brian Tracy

Key 1 Clarity
"Have vision. Determine what you want to be, do or have in life. Have a sense of direction and know where you're going. If you do not have clear specific goals in life, you are doomed forever to work for others who do"

Being clear of ones life and goals is crucial for life's prosperity, if one has a blur for their future, they would take time clearing the path that should be clear and wast precious time. Clarity is vital in many things, one of them is choosing the right.

Key 2 Competence
"If you commit to excellence, opportunities will always come your way. The harder you work, the better you get"

Being committed to doing something for personal gain can either give something great in return or a lesson. Nothing bad can come from being committed, this I think because being committed is something that is possible for everyone, but not everyone does it. And for those who do it, they get something; a person who is committed to doing bad things can get the lesson of their life, they either learn that doing wrong is bad or they learn how to do bad worse. Being committed does not have a bias, but it would be amazing if the world reduced the people committed to doing bad to 1% and increase the people who do good 70%.

Key 3 Concentration
"Make the best use of your time.Ask yourself "is this the best use of my time?" before you start anything"

Concentration can be determines as moles over liters (m/L) .... ok, maybe not this concentration.
The concentration that is being spoken of is a key to determining ones maturity and self-reliance. Staying concentrated is one of the main keys to achieving great things. Many of us cannot stay concentrated a single second , but it isn't because we don't want to (although I doubt some are even trying), it is because we have never been taught to concentrate, for most of our young lives, we have been on the loose, going from party to party, visiting places and what not. But we never took the time to sit down at home or at the park and read a good book,or do homework, or anything really that needed concentration. Keeping in mind ones priorities is vital to accomplishing great things.

Key 4 Common Sense

  • Train your mind
  • think things through
  • listen to your intuition
  • learn from setbacks
Common sense is crucial for survival of a specie, that includes us humans. We need to rely on our senses of survival to keep us going, that is what has taken us to new frontiers. As primitives, we knew nothing of the dangers from the world, we did not know that fire could kill us, or that a cold was deadly. It was all up to our senses to keep us alive, to tell our brain to stay away from that fire, to keep us warm in the winter. But now, as an advance specie, we have stopped relying on our instincts and common sense that stupidity now comes by nature.
To solve personal problems, we must take time to think of different scenarios, to think of different solutions and overall, take time to do it all. We have forgotten the process that most things have to go through to feel all the experience that the moment offers.

Key 5 Creativity

"Except the fact that every human being is a genius.  The hallmark of creativity is asking questions.  The people who are most creative ask the most questions."

Not everyone was meant to be a genius, if we where, our society and life style would would be perfect. Everyone would know the harms of everything that surrounds us.
I would agree that everyone has the potential of being a genius, but I do not believe that everyone is a genius, if that where true, then it'll be an insult for all of those who worked hard to achieve their intellectual. But creativity is beautiful when dominated, the creation of something from nothing is similar to the creation of everything, the creation of our beautiful universe.

Key 6Consideration
"The quality of your relationships with other people will determine your success in life."
"Develop the people skills you need to become a better communicator.  Take courses in listening, speaking, etc."
"If you were to learn one new word a day, within 5 years, you’ll be the best educated person in history."
Success can partially be affected by the relationships we hold with others. We can either make strong relationships to fill our lives with prosperity, or we don't. But not is only having relationships important, it is important to know what relationships must stay, if we have a relationship that is malicious, then it must go to prevent damage to yourself.
Being considerate of others and yourself is a great step to becoming a better person. But, there are occasions in which one's consideration must be set aside. Some of those occasions will always appear to a persons door step, no matter how hard one wants to evade them.

Key 7: Consistency

"Dependable, steady predictable work is always superior to fast spurts of work."

"Be consistent in your relationships, your family, friends, your boss, your work.  Be the person that people can depend upon.  That if you say you’ll do something you do it.."

Being the person anyone can depend on is a great thing, especially if you are an important person in the field of work you specialize in or at home. But always being the important person can take a tole in your personal life, having so much responsibility at an advance or young age can be difficult, either for the stress , or the inexperience with such responsibility. Some advantages of being consistent are consistency allows for measurement consistency creates accountability.

Key 8: Commitment

"No success is possible without commitment. The ability to commit yourself whole heartily is the basis of achieving all success."

"Become totally absorbed in your work. Be totally committed "

Commitment is needed for achieving great things. No project, or goal has ever been achieved without commitment because commitment is what drives us to better our work and what makes everything that is good better.
If we had no determination, what could we accomplish? Where would we be with mediocre work? If all the work we have completed until now was just a bunch of rubbish, then so would our society be. Ideas worth spreading, inventions worth making would have not come into existence if there was no commitment. The lack of commitment would be just as stacked domino, everything that follows the first step would fail because the fist step to everything needs a strong base.

Key 9: Courage

"The fear of failure is the single greatest reason for failure in life."

courage is something great to possess. Nothing great and nearly impossible is achieved without courage; this gives us the strength to push forward with difficult task. Whether this tasks are physically or mentally difficult. Yet, courage is not all that is needed; possessing courage is great, but combining it with different attribute to become better and better. Having courage to do things is good, having courage to ask out a girl, or do something really stupid, yet, when it is combined with intelligence, the outcome can be better and the work can be lessen. In less words, having courage is good, but using that trait in combination with other attribute is great.

Key 10: Confidence

"You only get confidence by doing things over and over again ."

The repetition of things can make those same things obsolete if it is done without heart. Making things that use to be enjoyable in a daily basis, can make those things unbearable. But being confident of something you do can just make about anything bearable. Being able to talk to people with confidence about what you do and teach them can just release a feeling of euphoria. Therefore, doing everything with confidence is something great because it was achieved with your hard work.

Reflection

The Keys to Personal Power will benefit me in the future, past and present by helping me reflect on my life actions that I took, and use that same knowledge to shape my future actions and to be sure to not choose actions that will go against me.
For example, I will utilize Key 10 at college to be sure that I do not get intimidated and keep my progress at its peek. I will utilize Key 5 to bring new ideas to the table at my work place. And also, I will utilize Key 3 to concentrate on my goals, on my self and surroundings to keep my environment euphoria.
